In a world full of so much noise, I always lean on this one good old simple tool of movement = Brain Dance!
Anyone who has ever shared time and space with me has done these actions. And this little video names 5 out of 8 gestures that awaken the brain and settle the nervous system. It’s an old teaching founded by movement educator Ann Gilbert in the 90s. And literally I still use it for everything.

Once I began traveling the path of nervous system regulation in recent years, I learned that I had been teaching it forever!
Years of being a dancer and a dance teacher I was totally regulating myself all the time with bouncing, shaking, cross lateral movement, side body stretches, tapping …
Dance is regulation!
So, wiggle every day.
